पोलीस कर्मचाऱ्याने दोन लोकांची नावे घेत स्वतःवर झाडल्या गोळ्या

सोलापूर : सोलापूर शहरातील जिल्हा कारागृहामध्ये गार्ड म्हणून सेवेत असलेल्या पोलिस कर्मचाऱ्याने स्वतःवर तीन गोळ्या झाडून घेतल्याची घटना घडली आहे. ही घटना आज शनिवारी सायंकाळी सहा वाजताच्या सुमारास समोर आली. विकास गंगाराम कोळपे (वय ३७ रा. जि. कारागृह वसाहत सोलापूर) असे या पोलिसाचे नाव आहे. विकास कोळपे यांच्या स्वतःच्या फेसबूक अकाउंटवर त्यांनी हे टोकाचे पाऊल उचलण्यापूर्वी दोघांची नावे घेतली आहेत. त्यांच्या त्रासाला कंटाळून आपण हे पाऊल उचलत असल्याचे म्हटले

आहे आणि त्यात स्वतःच्याच पोस्टवर भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजली असेही नमूद केले आहे. स्वतःला सिंघम म्हणत भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजली देखील अर्पण केली आहे. विकास गंगाराम कोळपे हे पुण्यातील देवाची आळंदी येथील मूळचे रहिवाशी आहेत. त्यांच्या घरी आई, वडील, भाऊ, पत्नी आणि अडीच वर्षाचा मुलगा असा परिवार आहे. विकास यांनी आत्महत्या करण्याचा प्रयत्न केल्याच्या घटनेने सोलापूर

पोलिसांमध्ये एकच खळबळ माजली आहे. गोळ्या झाडून घेतलेले विकास हे मूळचे पुणे जिल्ह्यातील देवाची आळंदी येथील रहिवासी आहे. दोन वर्षांपूर्वी तो सोलापुरातील जिल्हा कारागृहात बदलून आला होता. त्याने यापूर्वी २०१३ मध्ये कोल्हापूर, २०१६ येरवडा जेल पुणे, २०१७ अहमदनगर, २०१९ सांगली आणि २०२१ मध्ये सोलापूर जिल्हा कारागृहात मुख्य प्रवेशद्वारात गार्ड म्हणून कर्तव्य बजावत होते.

शनिवारी सायंकाळी सहाच्या सुमारास त्यांनी स्वतः जवळील एसएलआर बंदुकीतून स्वतःवर तीन गोळ्या झाडून घेतल्या. या गोळ्या छाती आणि खांद्यात घासून गेल्या असल्या तरी ते यामुळे गंभीर जखमी झाले आहेत. त्यांच्यावर छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज सर्वोच्च रुग्णालयात अतिदक्षता विभागात उपचार सुरू आहेत. या घटनेनंतर जिल्हा

कारागृहातील वरिष्ठ अधिकारी हरिभाऊ मिंड व इतरांनी भेटी देऊन माहिती घेतली. दरम्यान यातील पोलीस शिपाई कोळपे यांनी वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांच्या त्रासाला कंटाळून हे पाऊल उचलले असल्याची चर्चा सुरू आहे.
